The moment we conclude that we’ve had enough pain and suffering, we can begin working toward a more fulfilling and fruitful life.
Learn to let go.
Commit to forgiving what lies behind you and appreciating what lies ahead. Our adventure won’t end until we dies. We can work toward great happiness if we make a promise to ourselves to stop fixating on the past. Instead, do our best to make the most of the present.
“STOP FIXATING ON THE PAST”
If we push to make life to turn out exactly we wish, we are creating the potential for unhappiness.
We need to learn to think in ways that enliven us and don’t bring us down. If our life were painful in the past, use our energy to try to heal ourselves.
Try to accept what happened and what we’ve confront in the present. Because only with acceptance can we create a new and hopeful tomorrow (future).
People think that the moment we choose to forgive someone who harmed us, the person gains from our generosity.
However, in actual practice, the person who gets the most out of forgiveness is the forgiver. Forgiveness allows us to achieve peace and tranquility.
Don’t concentrate only on what went wrong. But rather seek what we can learn from our experiences.
Look for the positive instead of the negative. Feel gratitude toward those who treated us shabbily. They have shown us how not to act.
When we start acknowledging life without reservation, life in turn will accept us.
Let’s look at one part of this beautiful verse
“. . . and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” [Quran 24:22]
