Certainty That Our Prayers Will Be Answered

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, “Call upon Allah with certainty that he will answer you. Know that Allah will not answer the supplication of a heart that is negligent and distracted.”

Lessons:

  • Those who make du’a should have certainty that their du’awill be answered by Allah
  • Allah does not answer the prayers of those whose hearts arein doubt and those who are inattentive when making the du’a
  • When making a du’a, make it wholeheartedly and with completeassurance that Allah will hear and answer it, biidznillah
