Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘When a woman gives in charity from her house meals in Allah’s Cause without spoiling her husband’s property, she will get a reward for it, and her husband will also get the reward for his earnings and the storekeeper will get a reward likewise.’
- It is obligatory upon a wife to preserve her husband’s property.
- Any charity carried out by a wife using her husband’s wealth (for instance preparing food for guests), both will be rewarded on the condition that the husband’s wealth is not spoiled.
- The husband will be rewarded for the charity performed by his wife using a portion of his wealth.
A husband should be grateful and tolerant when his property is used by his wife to help the needy!
