Five Sunnah (Practices) of Fitrah (Human Nature)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said, ‘Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic region, plucking out hair under the armpit, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short.’

- Islam asks its ummah to always be clean.
- Amongst the practices of fitrah in the Sunnah is cleansing ourselves as such:
- Shaving pubic regions
- Plucking armpit hair
- Clipping nails
- Cutting mustaches short
Let us nurture this Sunnah of fitrah in our character and make certain that we always adhere to cleanliness!
